Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network (OON) provider and not paneled with any insurance companies. Many insurance plans offer OON benefits, giving you the flexibility to choose the therapist that best suits you. Contact your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network benefits and reimbursement process.
For couples therapy, some insurance policies provide OON coverage with the diagnosis code for relationship distress (Z63.0). If you’d like to use your OON benefits, please verify with your insurance provider before reaching out to me.
Questions to ask your insurance provider:
What are my OON mental health insurance benefits?
How much will be covered per session?
Is couples therapy covered with CPT procedure code 90847 (couples therapy) and diagnosis code Z63.0 (relationship distress)?
Is group therapy covered with CPT procedure code 90853 (group psychotherapy)?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Do you provide wrap-around services?
I am a small private practice and do not have the resources to offer wrap-around services or on-call crisis services.
You deserve the best quality care possible and to work with someone who has the skills, training, and structural capacity to best support you and your needs. We are not a good fit if you are seeking services for:
Domestic violence or intimate partner violence
Child custody cases
Suicidal ideation or self-inflicted harm
Substance use and abuse that inhibit daily functioning
Psychosis-related diagnoses (ex: schizophrenia)
Intensive outpatient care
Court-mandated treatment, assessments, or testimony in legal cases
How do I start therapy with you?
Schedule a consultation. Request a free 15 min consultation by getting in touch.
During our free consultation call, feel free to share what's on your mind. My goal is to create a warm, safe space where you can feel at ease.
Schedule first intake session. Next, we will schedule an intake session.
The intake session is an opportunity for us to understand what you're experiencing through a full assessment and history. You and I will further determine if we are a fit to work together. I know first sessions can be overwhelming, so we'll go at your pace and you'll be in control of what you share.
